Online Marketing Assistant - Motor company - Nr. Mansfield - Up to £25k

An Online Marketing Assistant is required to work for a automotive company, to support on e-marketing and traditional marketing, to help deliver communication to both consumers, businesses and internal staff, by managing a number of projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar marketing role and will have a knowledge of websites, particularly ecommerce and CMS systems as well as an understanding of website copy and the importance of this for both the target audience and search engines.

The ideal candidate :

- has proven experience in a similar role

- educated to a recognised marketing qualification or equivalent experience

- excellent planning and organising experience

- excellent copywriting skills

- is able to tailor creative to different target audiences (Business, Consumer and internal staff)

- a knowledge of content management systems and systems

- SEO, PPC campaign support

- basic html knowledge

- basic javascript and CSS knowledge ecommerce

- basic understanding of php & mysql

- able to plan accordingly to the project in hand

- understands the importance of measuring and reporting the effectiveness of projects

- understands the growing importance of social media

- is creative and able to forward their own ideas

- has excellent time management skills with a pro-active approach to work


Knowledge of the following software is also essential :

- Photoshop

- Fireworks

- Flash

- Illustrator

- Dreamweaver
